What BusyBiz collects, how it's used, and the control you keep. Last updated October 2026.

1. What we collect

Account details: your name, email address and account type when you sign up.

Content you submit: the business details you type into the prompt, prompts and chat edits, and any files you upload such as logos and photos.

Websites you build: the generated sites, their settings and publish status.

Billing data: handled by our payment provider. We never store your full card number.

Usage data: basic analytics such as pages viewed and actions taken, used to improve the service.

2. How we use it

To build, edit and host your website; to run your account and subscriptions; to send service emails such as receipts, password resets and important notices; and to keep the platform secure and working properly.

We don't sell your personal data. We don't use your uploaded business files to train AI models or share them with other customers.

3. AI processing

The text and assets you submit are processed by AI models to generate and edit your website. Those inputs are sent only to our AI provider for the purpose of generating your result, and are not used to market to you or sold to third parties.

4. Sharing

We share data only with the providers that make the service work: our hosting and database provider, our AI provider, and our payment processor. Each is bound to process data only on our instructions.

We may also disclose data if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of the service and its users.

5. Resellers

If a reseller builds a site for you, that reseller may set your client email and access the site on your behalf. Sites you own are visible in your client portal; edit requests go to the person who manages your site.

6. Storage and security

Data is stored in a hosted cloud database with encryption in transit and at rest. Uploaded files are stored privately and served only through an access-controlled proxy. No system is perfectly secure, but we take security seriously and limit access to what's needed to run the service.

7. Your choices and rights

You can update your account details, delete your uploaded files, and delete your sites at any time from your dashboard. You can request a copy of your data or ask us to delete your account and its data entirely via the contact page.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws like the GDPR or CCPA — including access, correction, portability and objection. To exercise any of them, contact us and we'll respond within the legally required window.

8. Cookies

We use a small number of essential cookies (and equivalent browser storage) to keep you signed in and remember your session. We don't run advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

9. Data retention

We keep your data while your account is active. When you delete your account or a site, the related content is removed from our systems after a short grace period, except where we must keep it for legal or accounting reasons.

10. Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we'll notify you by email or by a notice in the app before the changes take effect.
